1) a 40-60 ton schooner from Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia that fished the bays of the Labrador coast in summer. Each schooner carried 4-6 Labrador whalers on deck
2) a migratory fisherman carrying out the cod fishery in Labrador coastal waters
